The storysincere

I bought enough yarn for a scarf and confidently refused the beginner’s booklet. By evening, I had made a dense triangle.

My neighbour showed me how to undo it. We sat together while I tried again, counting stitches aloud and occasionally losing count because we were talking.

The finished scarf has a crooked edge. I wear it every winter. The leftover yarn is waiting for our next lesson.

The Museum of Ordinary Things

Nothing ordinary
about what we keep.

A ticket. A chipped cup. A watch that no longer works. Some objects matter for reasons no label can quite explain. This is a place to try.

This early exhibit explores how a photograph and a few words can give an everyday thing extraordinary attention.
